End of Year Performances

We’ve enjoyed some really good performances this term and have been thrilled to see and hear such confident performances.

Year 6 Show - Emil and the Detectives

What a wonderful final performance from our Year 6 cohort! The confidence that they all displayed in acting and singing was incredible. They had very little time to prepare after SATs and had to wait until the Year 4 play was finished (just 2 weeks before) to rehearse - and you couldn’t tell! It is always a delight seeing how far the Arnhem Wharf experience has brought the children over their time with us. We are very proud of each and every one of them and hope that many carry on with drama and/or music at their secondary school. 

Year 4 - Jack and the Beanstalk

Year 4 also performed their rendition of Roald Dahl’s ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ this term. Again, the expression and confidence on stage was impressive and the singing (and harmonising) was beautiful and the comedy acting was hilarious. A highlight was the giant’s solo - a performance that belonged on the West End stage. We look forward to seeing them in the Shakespeare cast (or other performances) in Year 6!
