Assessment

All staff members continuously assess children’s achievements and monitor progress towards targets in all curriculum areas. 

Pupils’ progress meetings are held every term, at which class teachers and the school leadership team track and review children’s progress.  

We keep you informed of your child’s progress formally through termly parent meetings and end of year reports.  Informally, you can discuss your child’s progress at any time of the year with the class teacher.

Children are formally assessed at the end of each phase in Reception, Year 2 and Year 6 and you will be informed of the outcomes of these assessments at the summer term parent/teacher meeting.
